The Big Bopper is inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame!
J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson has proudly been inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame. The other inductees for 2004 are "The Urban Cowboy" Johnny Lee and Mac Davis. Numerous activities are planned to celebrate the work of these beloved individuals. Our own J. P. Richardson Jr and the Rockin' Robin Band will perform. In addition, a special memorial event will be held for the late John Ritter, son of music legend Tex Ritter.
